Ingredients
- 2 cups double cream
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 teaspoon gelatine
- 30 grams chocolate
- 1 packet orange jelly
- 1 tin mandarine wedges
Instructions
- Place cream and sugar in a saucepan and stir over a gentle heat until the sugar has dissolved
- Add chocolate and stir until melted
- bring to the boil and simmer for about 3 minutes adding drops of vanilla essence
- sprinkle gelatine over the cream and leave it to sponge (be soaked up by the cream) for about 30 seconds
- whisk until the gelatine has dissolved
- pour the mixture into glasses and put in the fridge to set
- once the pannacotta has set gently place the mandarin wedges on top of the pannacotta
- make the jelly; place sachet of jelly into a bowl
- add one cup of boiling water whisk until the jelly has dissolved
- add one cup of icecubes stir until ice has melted the jelly should be starting to set. let it set a little.
- pour jelly over the pannacotta and mandarins and place back in the fridge until set.
