Beef Samosa

500 grams beef
1 tablespoon curry paste
1 clove garlic chopped
1 teaspoon cummin
1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander
1/3 cup water
125 grams spinach
1 packet springroll pastry

Beef Samosa Directions

  1. Heat butter in the pan
  2. add onion, garlic cumin and curry paste
  3. cook until onions are soft
  4. add beef mince and brown mince
  5. add potato and coriander
  6. simmer until potato is soft
  7. stir in the spinach 
  8. turn the heat off and allow spinach to wilt
  9. Preheat oven to 180°C
  10. cut the spring roll pastry in half
  11. brush beaten egg around the edge of one sheet of pastry
  12. place about a tablespoon of the mince mix on the bottom half of the pastry
  13. wrap into a triangle, see video
  14. repeat with the second layer of pastry
  15. place them on an oven tray and brush with oil
  16. cook in oven for about 20 minutes until golden brown, turning once.
